Students have the opportunity to engage with the diverse world around them through language, crafts, songs, and even cuisine representing various cultures. At the beginning of each school year, we initiate discussions on the similarities and differences among students. We emphasize the significance of individual uniqueness and share our diverse cultures, beliefs, and customs. Throughout the academic year, we explore different cultures, beliefs, customs, language and traditions.   This sets a foundation for students to see the differences and similarities of everyone and acceptance of these wonderful unique qualities of all of us.

During these cultural explorations, students may learn to greet others in languages such as Chinese, French, Italian, or even sign language. Additionally, they delve into various aspects of the culture, which could involve activities like preparing a special recipe from the chosen country, hosting a guest speaker to share insights, or showcasing clothing and artifacts. Spanish is seamlessly integrated into the daily curriculum, allowing students to learn greetings, numbers, weather expressions, colors, days of the week, and other vocabulary throughout the year.
